The Out of Your Comfort Zone Game
As many of you know, I have taken on a game of trying one new thing each week that is out of my comfort zone. Thanks to this game, I have never felt so alive and powerful in my whole life!
Who wants to play the game and watch the amazing life that you create?
The weekly Out of Your Comfort Zone Calls have been temporarily halted for the time being. Please read the discussion forum for my latest adventures and add your own.

Tips for Being Naturally High
Are you looking to cut back on drinking or cut it out completely?
Now that drinking is the exception rather than the rule for me, it doesn't occur at all like something I'm depriving myself of. I actually enjoy myself more when I don't drink. The clarity and groundedness I've gotten is what has my life be sooooo amazing and continue to get more and more fun. I invite you to take this game on like it is the coolest thing you've ever done and explore those things that make you naturally high.:)
Here are some tips for getting started:
1: I completely recommend the book called The Easy Way to Stop Drinking. Whether you are taking a break from drinking or something more serious, it provides an amazing perspective and will make your game easy and fun.
2: have a list of those things that trigger you to want to drink - for me there are 5 key things. Usually if a drink sounds like a great idea it is because I'm 1) tired, 2) thirsty, 3) hungry, 4) tense or 5) feeling socially disconnected. Knowing that about myself I can take a nap, drink water, eat food, take a hot shower to relax. The big one is the socially disconnected one. Often times all it takes is getting related with the people I'm with, or getting clear by speaking what's on my mind. With these 5 things covered, I can have sooooo much fun, feel free and wacky without alcohol. The best part is that at the end of the night, the fun is incorporated into who I am more deeply than when I drink. I feel at peace, really connected with the people around me and really grounded in what I love about myself and my life.
3: make a list of those things that feel indulgent to you or give you a natural high. Then prepare for a night out by bringing some of those things with you. Some examples for me are chocolate, frozen yogurt, kombucha, green tea, E3Live, Mon Avie, Coconut Water, etc. (Also amino acid supplements like L-Glutamine, Gaba and 5-HTP can help with alcohol cravings).
4: have a buddy or team of people playing this game with you and have regular calls with them to share what new natural highs you discover.
New tip...
5: think about what you think alcohol does for you in particular. If it makes you feel a little wild, like a devilicious side of you and that's something you like, then find another way to be wild. Go up to random men in a bar and say hello just for the thrill of it. Wear a short skirt and high heels. There's even something wild and devilicious about not-drinking in a crowd full of people getting drunk... it's like you are being defiant and going against the norm in an unexpected way;). People might give you a hard time at first when you won't let them buy you a drink but it's funny how consistently they end up wanting to be around you all night. There's something different about you. You aren't afraid to go against the norm.
